I got an email this morning telling about these great deals to help ease the pain of tax day.  (Thanks Tara!)  I have not personally verified the information, but I am passing it on here:

Subway is coming to the rescue with Customer Appreciation Day. Buy one footlong sandwich and get one for FREE today.

PF Chang's is giving you a break by taking 15% off your food bill today.

Bring in your own reusable mug and Starbucks will fill it up for FREE with their brewed coffee

Cinnabon is giving out 2 FREE cupcake bites to every customer from 6pm to 8pm on Tas Day (while supplies last).

Staples is offering 30 pages of FREE tax return copies. Staples is also offering free on-line expert tax advice.

Whole Foods is offering to pay customers' sales tax. The tax-free shopping day is a first-time event for the Southern region.

Visit a participating restaurant April 15 and hang onto your receipt. The “Tax Relief Day Special” lets you return before April 30 to receive the same order for free. (this is store to store so you'll have to call to see if any closest to you are doing this...)

Purchase an Egg McMuffin or Big Mac Thursday and get a second sandwich for 1 cent. McDonald's Egg McMuffin penny promotion is offered from opening through 10:30 a.m.; the Big Mac one-cent deal is available from 10:30 a.m. to midnight. (be sure to ask for free coupon book)
