The Auburn Preservation League, in partnership with the Auburn Arts Association and the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center, will present a reception and awards presentation for its 2nd Annual Juried Photography Exhibition on Friday, March 5 from 4 - 6 p.m. at the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center. The reception is free and open to the public.
This competitive exhibition features 37 photographs by 16 photographers. Artists entered pieces featuring images of historical sites inside Auburn's City limits, including existing, endangered, and no longer existing sites and/or buildings (excluding Auburn University property). All photographs submitted were evaluated by a panel of judges from the Auburn community and cash prizes will be awarded.
The exhibition is on display at the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center now through March 29. Citizens are encouraged to visit the gallery Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.
