Gnu's Room Events

 Here's what's happening at the Gnu's Room:

Wednesday, February 10th at 3:30 p.m.,
Thursday, February 18th at 5:30 p.m. and Friday, February 26th at
10:30 a.m. - The Write Time

If you enjoy writing fiction, non-fiction or poetry and would be
interested in meeting others over coffee or tea to talk about the
writing life, to share ideas and tips about getting started, learn how
to cope with writers block, how to edit your work or get published,
then The Write Time might be just the place for you! All are welcome
no matter at what stage of writing they may be, including those who
have always wanted to write but don't know how to begin. Come have
some fun with others who share your passion. The Write Time is hosted
by Helen Silverstein, editor of The Southern Women’s Review.

Thursday, February 4th, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. - Local Music

Acoustic band, Cranberry Horses, will be playing some of their
original music at the Gnu's Room. There is no cover, but donations for
the musicians are appreciated.

Friday, February 5th, 7:00 p.m. - Expressions Cafe

Poets, storytellers, musicians, spoken word artists, writers, and
actors are invited to perform their work on the first Friday evening
of each month for an appreciative and enthusiastic audience. Everyone
is welcome.

For any who don't know, the Gnu's Room is a local Auburn Bookstore located on Gay Street next to Amsterdam Cafe.  It specializes in rare and out of print books.
