To find free Kindle books just go to Amazon and click on Kindle books in the menu. Then you can either do a search for 0.00 (which should bring up all books with a price of $0.00) or you can look at the bestsellers list. Funny, but usually the latest free releases are on the best sellers list because you don't actually have to pay for them. If you look at best sellers you get more recent items. If you are looking for classics I would search for 0.00. They have a lot of good older material including Treasure Island, The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, The Origin of Species, Pride and Prejudice, the list goes on and on.
